Contemporary Abstract
Figurative Artist
about the artist
Nadine Hamata is a multidisciplinary visual artist working between abstraction, symbolism and figurative presence.
Her paintings combine layered textures, expressive gestures and strong visual composition to create works that feel raw, energetic and deliberately composed.
Influenced by design, materiality and emotional tension, her artistic language explores the dialogue between structure and spontaneity. Figurative elements emerge through abstraction, creating compositions shaped by movement, contrast and atmosphere.
Each work is created to hold presence within a space — visually, emotionally and architecturally.
artistic vision
EXPRESSION, CONTEMPORARY ABSTRACTION & VISUAL PRESENCE
Hamata Artistry explores the balance between instinct and composition.
Color, contrast and layered structures are used to create visual tension, depth and movement. Rather than following rigid concepts, the works evolve through intuition, process and material interaction.
The result is a body of work that feels both expressive and controlled — abstract, yet emotionally present.
creative process
MIXED MEDIA ABSTRACTION & VISUAL ENERGY
The creative process begins with movement, texture and emotional impulse rather than fixed sketches or predefined outcomes.
Layers of paint, marks and material interactions gradually build compositions that evolve organically throughout the process.
Figurative forms appear, dissolve and re-emerge within abstraction, creating works shaped by rhythm, contrast and visual energy.
MATERIAL & TECHNIQUES
TEXTURE, LAYERS & EXPRESSIVE MARKS
Hamata Artistry works are created using mixed media techniques on canvas and selected surfaces. Acrylics, markers, layered textures and expressive brushwork interact to create depth, structure and movement.
Visible traces of process remain intentionally present within the final work, becoming part of the artwork’s visual identity.
sIGNATURE STYLE
TEXTURE, LAYERS & EXPRESSIVE MARKS
The visual language of Hamata Artistry is defined by bold contrast, layered compositions and expressive abstraction.
Figurative elements emerge from abstract structures, creating an interplay between recognisable forms and open interpretation.
Each piece is designed to create presence — not only as artwork, but as atmosphere within a space.
